Lost Goats Returned After Escaping During Tusas Fire

The Tusas Fire started at approximately 4 p.m., April 22, 2026. When the Northern New Mexico Type 3 Incident Management Team took command of the fire, their focus was on suppressing the fire, protecting property, and evacuating residents whose lives might be in danger.

Court Of Appeals Will Hear A Case In Roswell On Law Day

COURT News:

ROSWELL – The state Court of Appeals will conduct an oral argument before students in Roswell on May 1 as part of the national observance of Law Day.

A three-judge panel of the Court will hear attorneys present arguments in an appeal of a man’s conviction of a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. The proceeding will take place at Goddard High School starting at 10 a.m. Judges will answer questions from students after the one-hour argument.

New Mexico State Police Involved In OIS In Los Lunas

NMSP News:

LOS LUNAS – On April 24, 2026, New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Investigations Bureau agents were requested to investigate an officer-involved shooting (OSI) involving NMSP in Los Lunas.

Agents learned that at around 8:30 p.m., the officer engaged their emergency equipment and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Manzano Road on a grey 2004 Dodge pickup truck. The vehicle failed to yield and continued driving before stopping at 4 Sierra Vista Drive in Meadow Lake.

ABC Suicide Prevention Class At Mesa Public Library May 4
