Oppenheimer Place Condominiums, 1001 Oppenheimer Dr, Los Alamos, NM, is accepting applications for a part-time Operations Manager; a 20 hour per week position with salary range $20 – $25 per hour.

At Oppenheimer Place, a condominium with 60 individually owned units for senior living, the Operations Manager ensures the condominium residents’ needs are met while managing different aspects of the day-to-day operations.

Our Operations Manager:

• Provides office hours to be available to the condominium residents
• Interacts closely with the condominium Board of Directors
• Interacts with accountants in managing a budget
• Administers contracts and coordinates with our Maintenance Manager for custodial and facility maintenance
• Helps ensure operational procedures and Rules & Regulations are followed
• Keeps electronic and paper records

Job Title: Day Out Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
The primary responsibility of the coordinator is to ensure that the clients’ needs are accommodated to the greatest extent possible. The coordinator is the primary communication link between the caregivers and the program. The coordinator ensures that the program meets all federal, state, and local guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain service plans for all participants.
2. Perform regular assessments of all senior participants.
3. Assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Day Out.
4. Prepare and distribute a monthly schedule for Day Out activities.
5. Create in-house and field trip programs.
6. Plan and carry out staff training.
7. Meet with caregivers on a quarterly basis or more frequently.
8. Work with Medicaid and other insurers as warranted.

Minimum Qualifications:

Have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of education in the field

of social work, psychology, counseling, geriatrics, or a related health care field, or

be a Registered Nurse, 3 years’ experience and training in working with the elderly

or special populations, at least one-year supervisory experience.

Lead Nursery Attendant/Coordinator at the United Church of Los Alamos
The United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Road, is looking to hire a Lead Nursery Attendant/Coordinator to supervise infants and children, ages birth through pre-k. The applicant will work primarily on Sunday mornings during church services and church classes, from 9am-12:30pm, but may occasionally be asked to provide nursery services for other events. The coordinator will maintain a schedule for nursery volunteer helpers and will manage the overall health and safety of the nursery/toddler department.
Hourly pay is $18-$25, dependent upon experience and qualifications. Generally 4-6 hours per week.
