ABC Suicide Prevention Class At Mesa Public Library May 4

          • Ask, Be Present, Connect – ABC Suicide Prevention Partner Class.

The community is invited to attend a free, 60-minute course that addresses how to prevent suicide. During the class, attendees will learn about the common causes of suicidal behavior, the warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for a person in crisis.

Certified instructor Kristine Coblentz will lead this class.

NMDOH: State Public Health Nurse Honored For Excellence

SANTA FE — A longtime New Mexico Department of Health nurse practitioner was honored this month for her work expanding access to HIV prevention medication in southern New Mexico. 

Gina Fullbright, a registered nurse with the New Mexico Department of Health’s (NMDOH) Public Health Division’s Southwest Region, received a Nursing Excellence Award from the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence annual ceremony on April 11.
