Boutique Air Launches Service From Los Alamos To Albuquerque Sunport Nov. 1!

  • Carrier to offer fares starting at $49 to Albuquerque

Los Alamos County and Boutique Air jointly announced this afternoon that flights between Los Alamos (LAM) and Albuquerque’s Sunport (ABQ) are now available for booking.

Service begins Sunday, Nov. 1. Fares will start at an introductory rate of $49 from Los Alamos to Albuquerque. The schedule will feature three daily round trip flights between the cities. The schedule can be found in the table below and online at www.boutiqueair.com.

Los Alamos County Receives 2015 Property Tax Levies From State

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County has received its 2015 property tax levies from the New Mexico Department of Finance Administration (DFA).

The residential levy is 24.430 mills, an 8.17 percent increase from the 2014 levy of 22.584 mills. The non-residential levy is 27.496 mills, a 7.19 percent increase from the 2014 levy of 25.652 mills.

In dollar terms, these levies are respectively $24.43 and $27.496 per $1,000 of taxable assessed value.As an example, a house with an assessed market value of $300,000 has an assessed taxable value of $100,000 (1/3 of market). Assuming no other exemptions, the Read More

Sherwood Boulevard Closure Scheduled Oct. 27

Due to rain delays, Sherwood Boulevard in White Rock is now scheduled for closure Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Work is scheduled through the weekend to prepare the roadbed for paving. Monday, Oct. 26, construction crews will be paving the northbound lane of Sherwood Blvd. The southbound lane will remain open. Motorists might experience minor delays particularly at driveways and cross streets.
