FBI: Albuquerque Man Charged With Robbing Two Credit Unions

FBI News:
 
The FBI has charged James Patrick Verdream with robbing two Albuquerque credit unions in March.
 
The U.S. Marshals Service, which had been searching for Verdream on a federal probation violation charge, arrested him Wednesday in Albuquerque.
 
Verdream, 51, of Albuquerque, was scheduled to have an initial appearance Monday in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque. Verdream is charged with robbing Rio Grande Credit Union, 1211 4th St. NW, March 13, and Nusenda Credit Union, 7517 Montgomery Blvd. NE, March 9.

DOE Completes Unremediated Nitrate Salts Treatment At Los Alamos National Laboratory

DOE’s Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) and contractor Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS) collaborated with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to successfully complete treatment of 27 unremediated nitrate salt (UNS) drums at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
 
The drums contained nitrate salt waste that had not previously been treated.

During the March for Our Lives event Saturday in Santa Fe, three Los Alamos High School students, Sonyia Williams, Leah Wolfsberg and Thomas Chadwick are scheduled to speak and share their thoughts on gun control and school safety.
 
The event begins at noon at the Roundhouse and ends with a rally in the Santa Fe Plaza.
 
Marika Sinnis, an organizer for the event, explained the purpose of the rally and march is to promote comprehensive gun control and demand that the lives and safety of children, parents, teachers
