Changes Announced For This Week’s ‘The Gathering Sunday’ Of Northern New Mexico Revival Center

The Sunday Gathering, a ministry of the Northern New Mexico Revival Center, will not meet this Sunday afternoon, Nov. 15.
 
Instead, the Sunday Gathering participants will join with other Christians from around the community for a Thanksgiving dinner being hosted by the Church of Christ.

NCRTD Announces Veterans Day Holiday Closure

NCRTD News:

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) has announced that the RTD “Blue Buses,” RTD Chile Line and RTD Mountain Trail Route will not be in service Wednesday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. 

Regularly scheduled bus service throughout north central New Mexico including Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos Counties will resume Thursday, Nov. 12.

The NCRTD thanks all veterans for the time they served and the sacrifices they and their families made for our country!

The Piñon Pine, or nut pine (Pinus edulis) was designated in 1948 as the state tree of New Mexico.
 
It grows slowly, not very tall, and is often found with juniper trees. We have one adjacent to our driveway, and have known it primarily for the copious amounts of fragrant sap it produces.
