La Vista Church is hosting a “Workplace Violence/Active Shooter Awareness and Staying Safe in Places of Worship” workshop Friday, Nov. 20 in Los Alamos.

This workshop will address the issue of violence, especially in places of worship. It will include two videos regarding the active shooter and domestic and intimate partner violence and how it can affect the workplace, schools, churches, etc. And will provide information on the three common options in an active shooter or aggressor situation.
