Traffic Alert: Large Transports Enter Community Wednesday
TRAFFIC ALERT:
Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Crews, working in conjunction with Los Alamos Police Department officers, will assist in the transport of two over-sized units through Los Alamos at different times during the day Wednesday.
First, during early morning hours and ahead of the morning commute peak travel time, a large crane will enter Los Alamos from N.M. 502 and travel westbound on Trinity Drive to Diamond Drive, then to Sullivan Field.
Travel should occur prior to the start of the work day on the N.M. 502 Roundabout and Trinity Drive construction improvements.

Traffic Alert: Lane Closures At Trinity & 15th Aug. 19-31
Traffic Alert:
ABI Mechanical, under contract with Natural Grocers, will tie the new grocery store into the Los Alamos County water, natural gas and sewer systems on Trinity Drive and 15th Street.
Weather permitting, work will be performed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Monday, Aug. 31.
ABI crews will be working in the road on Trinity Drive at the 15th Street intersection and various lane drops will occur at different times and affect traffic in the area.
Speed limits will be reduced to 25 miles per hour and orange barrels will demark the moving construction zone.

NMDOT News:
SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is proposing safety improvements at the interchange between N.M. 599 and U.S. 84/285.
The proposed project includes realignment of the N.M. 599 southbound on-ramp to U.S. 84/285, addition of a 1,200-foot acceleration lane, installation of median wall barrier to replace the aging/sub-standard median wall barrier between N.M 599 and the Guadalupe Street exit, and the closure of Viento Drive access to/from U.S. 84/285.
