Celebrate Holiday Season At Fuller Lodge Open House

The annual Fuller Lodge Open House helps kick off the holiday season as well as the Winterfest festivities.

The  Los Alamos Arts Council, along with the Art Center at Fuller Lodge and the Los Alamos Historical Society are hosting the event Saturday at the Lodge, Los Alamos’ best known historic building and its cultural and artistic center.

Dance Arts Los Alamos’ (DALA) 2015 “Nutcracker on the Hill” was a smash hit. The classic Tchaikovsky’s score was mixed with Los Alamos’ history, which produced a show completely unique to the community.

“Nutcracker on the Hill” returns this year but continues to add new twists to this popular holiday ballet. The first being Los Alamos National Laboratory Director Charlie McMillan will take on the role of Oppenheimer.

“Moana” is a visual and auditory delight for adults, with a fun plot line for kids. It is an animated story of an adventurous daughter of a Polynesian chief in the pre-contact Pacific region.
