PEEC Planetarium Show Explores Solar System

The community is invited to take a journey with astrophysicist Dr. Rick Wallace at 7 p.m., Friday to discover new revelations about the solar system.

Attendees will view the solar system in the planetarium dome at the Los Alamos Nature Center, 2600 Canyon Road and glimpse the possibilities of a new planet.

The New Mexico Philharmonic and the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus solidify artistic collaboration with a Fundraising Special Concert to benefit the New Mexico Philharmonic. The musicians of the orchestra graciously partake in the fundraising by donating a portion of their services.

Atomic City Children’s Theater (ACCT), the Los Alamos Public Schools’ award winning after-school theater program, is excited to announce auditions for their Junior Theater Festival West (JTF West) field trip to Sacramento, Calif. in February 2017.
 
Auditions are 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in the Mountain Elementary School gymnasium, and are open all students in the Los Alamos or White Rock area between the ages of 8-18. Registration begins at 1 p.m.
