Los Alamos Eco Station Collects Fruit For Bears

The Los Alamos County Eco Station is collecting apples and other fruit for the two bear cubs orphaned this summer in the Valles Caldera. Dr. Kathleen Ramsay and the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation are rehabilitating the cubs.

The community is invited to stop by the Eco Station and drop off fruit, 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
