Atomic City Children’s Theater Auditions For 2017 Junior Theater Festival West Field Trip To Sacramento

Atomic City Children’s Theater (ACCT), the Los Alamos Public Schools’ award winning after-school theater program, is excited to announce auditions for their Junior Theater Festival West (JTF West) field trip to Sacramento, Calif. in February 2017.
 
Auditions are 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in the Mountain Elementary School gymnasium, and are open all students in the Los Alamos or White Rock area between the ages of 8-18. Registration begins at 1 p.m.
 
JTF West activities begin with an adjudicated performance on Saturday morning and continue non-stop during the entire weekend. The JTF West field trip will take place over the Feb/ 9-13, 2017 weekend.
 
Other JTF activities planned are Workshops for Students and Teachers, JTF All-Stars, Choreography DVD Auditions, New Works Showcase, Pathways to Success, the Broadway JR. Slam, Direct From Broadway, Freddie G Awards Ceremony, and fun, Fun, FUN!
 
Now in its ninth year, ACCT is led by Co-Directors, Daren Savage and Kelsey Cline. ACCT offers performing opportunities to Los Alamos area students and is designed to promote academic excellence through participation in the arts.
