SANTA FE ─ The public is invited to comment on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s second amendmentto the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The program will serve as a four year plan for the state’s federal aid highway program.
The STIP contains proposed road and bridge projects and is required under the federal legislation. Projects on the list are on federal and state highways (roads with I, U.S. or NM designations).

Omega Laser Facility Completes Record 25,000 Experiments

Fidel Lee Gutierrez, 51, of Santa Fe , New Mexico passed away peacefully on his birthday, Nov. 3, 2013, in his home after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. He was a beloved son; husband, brother, uncle, friend, banker and leader in the community.
Fidel was born in Las Cruces , New Mexico on Nov. 3, 1962. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1980. After attending UNM and UCLA, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University in 1985.

Council Approves $365,248 to Aid Struggling Commercial Air Service Program
Airport Manager Peter Soderquist presented to Council this evening a commercial air service update and asked for a budget revision of $365,248 to the contract with the County to fund the commercial air service program, which includes $100,000 for associated marketing.
