Guaje Pines Cemetery Recognized By Wreaths Across America

The Los Alamos American Legion Riders, working in conjunction with Los Alamos County, are proud to announce that Wreaths Across America has recognized Guaje Pines as a participating cemetery to honor our community’s fallen veterans.

Wreaths Across America is a national program designed to honor fallen veterans of all wars at national, state and local cemeteries. The mission, Remember, Honor, Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies in December at national cemeteries, as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states, ceremonies at sea, and 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil.

Sponsorships are available and can be ordered individually or at different levels, including family, small business and corporate.Sponsorships are available online at http://waa.convio.net/goto/nmarl19 or hardcopies are available at the Los Alamos American Legion Post at 1325 Trinity Dr.

The wreaths cost $15 each and will be placed on gravesites at Guaje Pines, Santa Fe National Cemetery and other cemeteries across New Mexico Dec. 14.
