Traffic Alert: Trailer Blocking Roadway On N.M. 4

Traffic Alert:

A vehicle pulling a trailer with construction sheet rock has flipped over, blocking the lanes on N.M. 4 between the truck route (East Jemez Road) and the community of White Rock, at mile marker 66.

Los Alamos Police Department is asking motorists to proceed with caution and avoid the area if at all possible to allow responders to clear the scene. Read More

Today’s update announces 3 additional deaths reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

Live Streaming Of Supreme Court Hearing On Enforcement Of Public Health Emergency Orders

SANTA FE — There will be live streaming of a Supreme Court hearing Tuesday, Aug. 4, in a case concerning the state’s authority to enforce public health emergency orders by imposing civil administrative penalties.

Oral arguments in the case will begin at 9 a.m., and New Mexico PBS, KNME-TV, will stream the hearing on its YouTube channel.

FBI Increases Reward Up To $50,000 On Fifth Anniversary Of Explosions At Baptist And Catholic Churches In Las Cruces

FBI News:

As a team of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies searches for whomever set off two explosions in Las Cruces five years ago, the FBI used the impending anniversary to make two announcements Friday in the case.

The FBI reward has been more than doubled, and portions of a letter sent around the time of the incidents are being released on the chance it could lead to tips.
