From Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham:

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said Friday that New Mexico’s 7-day new case count average continues to be high – too high.

“The emergency public health order has been extended and will remain in effect.

If we want students to be able to be in classrooms this year, we have to do better.

Mass gatherings remain unsafe and are not allowed. Please, do not gather in groups – when you do so, you provide the virus a perfect opportunity to spread.

Stay home when possible and wear a face covering in public.

Together we can and we will reduce the spread of COVID-19.”
