FBI: Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Girlfriend In Indian Country

FBI News:

ALBUQUERQUE — Troy Livingston, 20, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation who resides in Bread Springs, N.M., pleaded guilty Friday in federal court in Albuquerque to second degree murder in Indian Country.

According to his plea agreement and other court records, Livingston beat Jane Doe, his girlfriend and the mother of his young child, with his hands, feet, and a metal flashlight, which inflicted severe injuries to her head, face and body.

New Mexico COVID-19 Cases Now At 21,965 With 6 New Death And 9,166 Patients Recovered

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 197 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County remains at 20 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update announces 6 additional death reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:

  • 32 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 8 new cases in Chaves County
  • 14 new cases in Cibola County
  • 1 new case in Colfax County
  • 17 new cases in Curry County
  • 50 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 6 new cases in Eddy County

Traffic Alert: Water Line Break On Los Pueblos Street

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews are responding to a water line break on Los Pueblos Street west of Bonita Place on Barranca Mesa. 

Customers in the area are experiencing low to no water pressure. 

Excavation is occurring on the north side of the street with some impacts to west bound traffic at the construction zone. 

Crews estimate that water services will be restored by 6 p.m. today.

FBI: Fugitive On The Lam For Decades Nabbed In Española

FBI News:

Luis Archuleta, (aka Larry Pusateri), a former Colorado resident wanted by the FBI since 1977 on a charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution/confinement, has been apprehended and is being returned to Colorado following his arrest Wednesday in Española.

Special Agents from the Albuquerque FBI Division, working with the Española Police Department, arrested Archuleta.

New Mexico State Police Probe Double Homicide In Rio Arriba

NMSP News:

TRES PIEDRAS — New Mexico State Police Officers were called Aug. 1 when two individuals were found deceased in their residence near Tres Piedras in Rio Arriba County.

State Police officers responded and identified the two decedents as Nathan Faccio, 46, and Nirvana Sisneros, 47.

New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was called to investigate this homicide. Agents have conducted numerous interviews and executed multiple search warrants during the course of the investigation.

Agents do have a person of interest, but no arrests have been made at this time.
