I am a Gen-Xer. I was part of that group that grew up on hairbands, Nike Pumps, Goonies, and MTV. What I remember most about my youth is so desperately trying to stay in touch with the pop-culture. Fashions and slangs seemed to change more often than my shoe size did; and surviving Jr. High and High School meant never missing the newest fad. I had to really be careful which “artist” I imitated. Youth Mental Health First Aid Course Offered

September is Suicide Prevention Month. An appropriate way to show your support of suicide prevention and improve your knowledge about mental health is to sign up for a Mental Health First Aid Class.

RTD Mountain Trail Route Begins Service On National Public Lands Day Sept. 26

NCRTD News:

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) has announced that it will begin service on its trial RTD (“Blue Bus”) Mountain Trail route, Saturday, Sept. 26, departing at 10:30 a.m. from the South Capitol Rail Runner Station.

The Mountain Trail route will provide service from the South Capitol Rail Runner Station, through Downtown to Fort Marcy Park and then up Hyde Park Road to recreational areas and businesses along NM 475 concluding at Ski Santa Fe.
