For those of you who do not like 3D, you’re in luck. All shows will be 2D Read More

‘Amelie’ Wins You Over With Whimsical Sweetness

Movie poster for ‘Amelie.’

“Amelie” (2001, rated R for sexuality) tells the life story of Amelie Poulain, beginning with her conception and building to her first cutely quixotic attempt at romantic love.

Reel Deal Theater

This week through Jan. 1, we are holding Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, Saving Mr. Banks, Anchorman 2 and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

Jan. 2, we hope to open The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle. The studios have not totally confirmed these bookings for us but hopefully they’ll consider our small town, especially after our constant badgering.

Both of these films will be Academy Award considerations, so the studios are not releasing these films in one huge distribution. They’re sort of dribbling them out so folks are still talking about them Read More
