The new fourth season of “Downton Abbey,” PBS’s popular English drama, premieres in the U.S. at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 on PBS (Channel 5.) To celebrate this new season, The Betty Ehart Senior Center will host “An Afternoon at Downton Abbey Tea” 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5. Scones, tea sandwiches, and shortbreads will be included with other delicacies to include a full English afternoon tea.

Do your alliances lie with the downstairs scullery maids or those of the upstairs elite? Dress accordingly for this afternoon event, which will be a great prelude to the opening of Season Four.

All ages are welcome at this fundraising event. Tickets are available at the reception desks at both Senior Centers in Los Alamos and White Rock, along with CB FOX. Adult tickets are $20, and children 12 and under are $10.
