Council Approves $365,248 to Aid Struggling Commercial Air Service Program
Airport Manager Peter Soderquist presented to Council this evening a commercial air service update and asked for a budget revision of $365,248 to the contract with the County to fund the commercial air service program, which includes $100,000 for associated marketing. Progress continues on the clubhouse with window installation taking place. The HVAC work is nearly complete, sheet rock work in the basement has started and a great deal of site work is taking place in the parking lot.

Handgun Missing From SOC’s Inventory
LAPD News:
Los Alamos Police Commander Preston Ballew has issued a press release related to a handgun missing from SOC’s inventory. SOC is the contracted physical security force for Los Alamos National Laboratory.
According to Ballew, an officer from his department took a report at approximately 6:35 p.m., Nov. 1 from SOC. The weapon was discovered missing during an inventory check earlier in the day, Ballew stated in the release. The Los Alamos Police Department is investigating this incident and working closely with LANL, DOE and SOC to locate and identify how this weapon became missing. Read More
