Scenes From Mobile Food Pantry At First United Methodist Church Provides Nourishment For Nearly 400 Families

Cars line up Friday at the Mobile Food Pantry truck in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church on Diamond Drive to pick up food donated by The Food Depot. As northern New Mexico’s only food bank, The Food Depot is considered an ‘essential business’ under the expanded ‘stay at home’ order issued on March 23, 2020, by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. The Mobile Food Pantry visits Los Alamos on the 4th Friday of each month and the food provides support for nearly 400 families. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
