It was an exciting night. The results are in. Los Alamos wins, again. Congratulations to Antonio (Maggiore), Pete (Sheehey), Chris (Chandler) and Los Alamos! We’ve got great leadership, again.

 

The one thing that I’m not happy about is that everyone puts so much emphasis on the national results. The real change happens on the local level. We had fantastic candidates to choose from. Los Alamos would have won regardless of the results.

Nearly 11,000 Local Voters Cast Ballots To Date

Heinrich To Hold Rural Health Care Listening Tour

Los Alamos NJROTC Defeats Lehman NJROTC

NJROTC News:
 
Los Alamos NJROTC defeated Lehman NJROTC 877 to 830 last week in the National Air Rifle League.
 
Their second win in a row, Los Alamos NJROTC is in fifth place in their Division with a 3-2 record. Los Alamos NJROTC was led by Neil Wilkerson who shot a 245. The remaining contributing members were Julio Shipman, Kaden Lim, and Thomas Kwei. Los Alamos NJROTC is from Los Alamos, NM, and is coached by Wes Shumaker.

Lehman NJROTC dropped to 1-4 on the season. They are currently in seventh place in their Division. Lehman NJROTC was led by Rafael Sibrian who shot a 234. The remaining

IRS Warns Tax Professionals Of e-Services Scam

IRS News:
 
PHOENIX  The Internal Revenue Service recently issued an urgent alert to tax professionals who use IRS e-services to beware of an email asking them to update their accounts and directing them to a fake website.
 
The subject line for the fraudulent email is “Security Awareness for Tax Professionals.” The “From” line is “Your e-Services Team.” It has both an IRS logo and an e-services logo that hyperlinks to a URL verified as a phishing site. The spoofing site poses as an e-services registration page.
