LAPD Reminds Motorists And Pedestrians To Travel Safely Following Second Fatal Crash Of 2021

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) investigated a fatal crash in White Rock on Sept. 20, involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian. 

The pedestrian victim was a 56-year-old female resident of White Rock.

The Department’s patrol division and crash reconstruction team responded to the scene. The investigation was forwarded to the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office for review.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) will conduct low-altitude helicopter flights over downtown Boston and the Boston Marathon race route, Friday, Oct. 8, through Monday, Oct. 11.


NNSA’s Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST) aircraft will measure naturally occurring background radiation as part of standard preparations to protect public health and safety on the day of the event. The aerial surveys are in support of the 2021 Boston Marathon.
