I recently took the poll regarding the “Art Mosaics” the County has purchased for the leisure pool. I say purchased as it is on the artists website as installed in the Los Alamos Aquatic Center. https://www.amandajaffe.com/art-in-public-places

The APP board is trying to be good stewards of the taxpayer’s funds yet fails to get input before they commission the works. Having them listed as part of the Los Alamos Aquatic Center, leads the public to believe that they are sold.

Leadership Los Alamos Resumes After Taking Year Off

After taking a year off, Leadership Los Alamos (LLA) has resumed its program. The new class is comprised of 20 members interested in learning more about the workings of our community while broadening and strengthening their leadership skills.

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) collected 8.5 tons of roadside trash during a statewide “Toss No Mas” litter clean-up event in September.

County Utility Bills And Winter Moratorium Requirements

Customer protections from utility disconnects during the heating season is afforded to those current on their utility bill or current on a payment plan as of Nov. 15, according to Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) Rule GR-13-06 C. (1) a.
