County Reports REDINet Wi-Fi Networks Are Restored

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Information Management reports that the network provider, REDINet, restored services at 11:38 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10.

REDINet began experiencing downtime on Wednesday morning, following a hardware failure. The two County networks affected included “LAC Public” at all County facilities, and “Discover LA”, the free Wi-Fi available in the Los Alamos downtown historic district.

The downtime was caused when REDInet experienced a hardware failure involving a critical component.

ALBUQUERQUE — Two Tribal communities will receive state grants totaling $200,000 for broadband planning, engineering and grant writing.  

Santa Clara Pueblo in Rio Arriba County and the Fort Sill Chiricahua Warm Springs Apache Tribe in Luna County each received a maximum $100,000 planning grant through the state’s Grant Writing, Engineering and Planning Program (GWEP). SANTA FE — New Mexico’s Judiciary uses a robust text and email reminder messaging system to help ensure people awaiting trial return to court for their future hearings and comply with other pretrial supervision requirements.
