SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 126 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 2 new cases, which brings the total to 27 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update announces 3 additional deaths reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:

  • 22 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 16 new cases in Chaves County
  • 5 new cases in Curry County
  • 22 new cases in Doña Ana County

All Five Los Alamos Elementary Schools Transition To Hybrid Learning Model Beginning Monday Sept. 21

Earlier this evening (Thursday), the Los Alamos School Board unanimously voted to have all five elementary schools transition to the hybrid learning model beginning Monday Sept. 21.

The hybrid model consists of students physically attending school two days a week and working remotely three days a week.

Half of the students attend on Monday and Tuesday (green track) and the other half attend on Thursday and Friday (gold track).
