Los Alamos Family In Quarantine Gets Birthday Surprise

The Los Alamos family seated on the stairs today is in two-week quarantine because they were out of state when all of the social distancing guidelines took affect in New Mexico. Today is their son’s 8th birthday and to help him celebrate, Hill Stomper Ringleader Jeff Favorite is putting on a juggling and fire breathing show. The Inside Arts series of the Los Alamos Museum of Art will feature local photographer Ken Hanson in an interview that airs 8:30 p.m. today, 4 p.m. Tuesday and 8 p.m. Thursday on PAC 8.

Hanson is one of those talented Los Alamos National Laboratory physicists who also is a talented artist. Upon retiring from a career in image analysis, Hanson began a second career in image analysis of a different kind: photography.
