Belisama Irish Dancers Perform At James A. Little Theater March 15

The community is invited to join the Belisama Irish Dancers 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at the James A. Little Theater at the New Mexico School for the Deaf in Santa Fe for Rhythm of Fire 2020, a wee bit early for St. Patrick’s Day.

A family friendly celebration of dance and music from Ireland, Scotland, Spain and Mexico.

They are joined this year by special guests from the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklorico and Flamenco programs, as well as Highland Dance Albuquerque.

State Film Office: ‘Capitol Barbie’ Filming In New Mexico

SANTA FE — The New Mexico State Film Office has announced that the television pilot, “Capitol Barbie”, produced by Outlast Entertainment, LLC, a New Mexico based production company, will film in Albuquerque this month. 

Directed and produced by Riley Del Rey (“Thought I Lost You” Sci-Fi Western pilot), the production is employing approximately 40 New Mexico crew members, 20 principal New Mexico actors and 40 New Mexico background talent.

“Portrait of a Lady on Fire”, is a two-hour long, French film that won writer/director Céline Sciamma Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

Originally titled Portrait de la jeune fille en feu—in this story, la jeune fille is a young woman, untested by the real world.

Cinema Cindy Reviews: ‘The Gentlemen’

“The Gentlemen” is the kind of crime caper where the audience is made to root for one criminal over another. There are many intriguing characters, whose roles soon become clear.

Their dialogue is fast and witty, though the F-word and C-word are used liberally. Twists and turns in the action will keep you glued to your seat. And, although there is obligatory violence, including execution by gun, the audience is not subjected to too much blood, and no gore.
