Los Alamos County Economic Vitality Administrator Greg Fisher has died. Police found Fisher Wednesday evening in his White Rock home.

Los Alamos Police Cmdr. Preston Ballew told the Los Alamos Daily Post this morning that there were no apparent signs of foul play and the death was likely due to natural causes, adding that the Office of the Medical Investigator will make the final determination as to the cause of death.

Council Approves Changes To Financial Policies

County Council voted 4-3 this evening to approve financial policy changes to the general fund, including dropping general fund reserves to 20 percent from 25 percent, moving the warning for reserves to 15 percent and consolidating those funds into one fund. Councilors James Chrobocinski, David Izraelevitz, Pete Sheehey and Chair Rick Reiss voted for the measure.
