The County’s code enforcement has been a hot topic of conversation within the community. The Los Alamos County Council will join the conversation during its upcoming work session at 6 p.m., Nov. 7 in Council Chambers.

The community is invited to join the Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project for a free public presentation by President of the San Gabriel Historical Society Lennett Rendon.
The presentation is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area Heritage Center on Hwy 68 in Alcalde.
The San Gabriel Historical Society was established in 1966 by a group of concerned citizens that wanted to preserve the local history of Northern New Mexico.

The Los Alamos Daily Post has surpassed 8,000 friends today on Facebook!
The local newspaper began operations Feb. 7, 2012 and became the Official Newspaper of Record in January of this year under a contract with Los Alamos County, which runs through 2023.
The Daily Post is published online seven days a week and its print edition is mailed each Thursday to every home and business in Los Alamos and White Rock. The Post also has readers throughout New Mexico, across the United States and in 129 countries around the world.
