ALBUQUERQUE — The Rio Grande Chapter of the Sierra Club Friday issued its early 2020 endorsements of incumbent legislators who are leading environmental champions, including Dist. 43 Rep. Christine Chandler of Los Alamos.

SANTA FE — To celebrate its’ 12th year rescuing, saving and providing sanctuary for horses, The Horse Shelter (THS) is hosting its 10th annual philanthropic Equine Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 at Restaurant Martin.

ALAMOGORDO – The New Mexico Museum of Space History is introducing a new series of free quarterly programs aimed at helping people learn how to preserve and protect their family valuables and heirlooms.

DPU Seeks Volunteers For Conservation Committee

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will be updating its energy and water conservation plan this year to meet state and federal requirements.

As part of this process, DPU is inviting customers to volunteer to participate in a committee to develop conservation initiatives to recommend to the Board of Public Utilities.
