Highlands University Media Arts & Technology Students Create Installation For La Posada Hotel In Arizona

LAS VEGAS, NM — Students at New Mexico Highlands University created a temporary projection installation for La Posada Hotel in Winslow, Ariz., that highlights the hotel’s rich railroad history.

During a weekend earlier this month, the Highlands University students in the Media Arts and Technology Department designed a montage of typography and maps, historical photos and modern animation, which they projected upon the façade of La Posada Hotel after dark. Read More

Play With Clay At Fuller Lodge Beginning Jan. 31

Play with Clay is a new five-week clay art and wellness experience open to everyone age 14 and older.

The classes begin 3-6 p.m., Jan 31 at Fuller Lodge at 2132 Central Ave. in downtown Los Alamos.

The Art Center Clay Studio will allow participants the opportunity to learn about wellness, coping skills and the benefits of art making, while being creative in the clay studio.
