Los Alamos Youth Lacrosse Registration Is Jan. 17

LACROSSE News:

Walk-in registration for youth and high school lacrosse teams is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 in the multipurpose room of the White Rock Branch Library, 10 Sherwood Blvd.

Students age 9 through high school seniors are welcome. Although there is currently not a separate girls’ program, girls are welcome to play in a coed environment.

SANTA FE  The Santa Fe National Forest will waive fees at many day-use recreation sites and amenities Monday, Jan. 16, to honor the legacy of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.
 
All Santa Fe National Forest offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. Forest offices will resume regular business hours Tuesday, Jan. 17.

In late 2014, Mueller had the luck of traveling to Antarctica to go ski mountaineering with a team of friends and a boatful of great people. It really was the trip of a lifetime, and is accessible to everybody. As his journey to this point started on a visit to France, he will be showing photos of skiing and climbing from Chamonix, Argentina and Antarctica.
