Sci-Fi Musical “Petra and the Jay” on Stage April 13, 14

The community-wide Earth Day Festival on April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is not only fun for children and adults but also reminds us to recycle, up-cycle, and reuse. 

This year we have two student-generated projects for recycling: collecting and contributing aluminum cans and a toy exchange.

Third Weird Creature Sighted in Los Alamos

As we were walking down Trinity Drive we met up with another unusual creature, the third sighted in Los Alamos in the the last month.  
 
This one was headed toward Crossroads Bible Church and we were delighted “It” was willing to talk with us.   
 
Ambassador Geriton from the sulfurous planet Marndock has been invited to Los Alamos along with the previous weird creatures, Ambassadors Dannyborg and Ramseed to participate in a U.F.F.D.A conference.

It’s swingin’ on Arizona Street in Los Alamos every Thursday night when the Craig Martin Experience (CME) gets together to jam. The seven-piece jazz combo has been together since December 2010. CME is Craig Martin on tenor saxophone, Quinn Marksteiner on alto saxophone, Carl Hagelberg on trumpet, Mike Rogers on guitar, Aaron Anderson on keyboards, John Frary on drums and Rob Heineman on bass.

The Los Alamos Community Winds Presents ‘Toys and Stories’ March 17

The Los Alamos Community Winds presents a fun family concert, “Toys and Stories,” at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Crossroads Bible Church in Los Alamos. 

Like all Winds concerts, it is offered free of charge to the community.
