The community is invited to a Special Needs Friendly/Teal Pumpkin Trunk or Treat event.
Come to La Vista Church at 15 Grand Canyon Dr. in White Rock 5-7 p.m., Oct. 31 for low sensory, non-scary, calm fun.
Non-food treats, and lollipops will be handed out to make this an allergy friendly event. Costumes are welcome but not required, and there is no upper age limit.

PEEC News:
The Pajarito Environmental Education Center, the non-profit organization that operates the Los Alamos Nature Center, recently received a grant from the Clif Bar Family Foundation to support the popular Passport to the Pajarito Plateau program.
The funding from Clif Bar will help PEEC continue to print and provide prizes for Passports I and II and go toward producing a third edition of the Passport, which PEEC hopes to debut at Earth Day Festival in 2019. Sustained funding to support all three Passport programs comes from the local Delle Foundation.
