Susie Lee (D-Nev.) led a bipartisan, bicameral group of 23 lawmakers in a letter urging Acting National Institute of Health (NIH) Director Dr. Lawrence A. Tabak to expand funding opportunities for research in osteopathic medicine.

LAHS Girls Soccer Team Sponsoring Summer Camp This Week At Sullivan Field

The Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Girls Soccer Team is sponsoring a young girls, ages 3-12, soccer camp this week at Sullivan Field. Open enrolment and drop-ins are welcome. The sessions run 9 a.m. to noon daily. The young athletes are coached by members of the girls varsity soccer team. Los Alamos County 4-H had a great showing at the District and State Contests. This year Los Alamos had 5 Novice, 1 Junior and 5 Senior members participating in the contests.

Novice and Junior members in 3rd through 7th grade participated in the Northern New Mexico District contest held at the end of June in Farmington.
