Curative COVID-19 Testing Moving From Fuller Lodge To Overlook Park As Drive-Through Site In White Rock Tuesday

COUNTY News:

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26, the Curative COVID-19 testing clinic will move from Fuller Lodge to Overlook Park in White Rock as its permanent drive-through testing site.

Citizens who already scheduled appointments at Fuller Lodge for this coming Tuesday, need only to arrive at their scheduled time at Overlook Park instead.

Signage will direct individuals once they turn east onto Overlook Road.

Curative staff will instruct citizens how to self-administer the test from their car, will collect the sample and send it to the lab for testing. Results will be emailed or sent via text

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 635 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 4 new cases today bringing the total to 424 people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes 30 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today’s most recent cases:

  • 146 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 21 new cases in Chaves County
  • 5 new cases in Cibola County
  • 5 new cases in Colfax County
  • 12 new cases in Curry County
  • 69 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 34 new cases in Eddy County
  • 5 new cases

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 859 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 2 new cases today bringing the total to 420 people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes 38 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today’s most recent cases:

  • 184 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 30 new cases in Chaves County
  • 15 new cases in Cibola County
  • 22 new cases in Curry County
  • 74 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 49 new cases in Eddy County
  • 13 new cases in Grant County
  • 1 new case

Anti-Nuke Sign Removed From Entrance To Los Alamos

A plastic anti-nuke sign placed illegally Friday at the entrance to Los Alamos has been removed. The sign was placed on county property without the owner obtaining a permit. Section 16-417, subsection B of the County Municipal Code details penalties for signs placed illegally on public property. ‘Any sign installed or placed on public property, except in conformance with the requirements of this section … shall be forfeited to the public and subject to confiscation. In addition to other remedies under this article, the county shall have the right to recover from the person placing such a sign
