LAAC Hosts Auditions For ‘Peter And Wendy’ Monday

The Los Alamos Arts Council invites children of the community to audition for this year’s Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Peter and Wendy.”

A dazzling display of quilts will be on display at the Jemez Mountain Bear Paw guild quilt show at the Walatowa Visitor Center, Jemez Pueblo, 7413 Hwy 4.
 
Quilts include the Patriotic Fallen Warrior Quilts given to New Mexico families that have lost a soldier in the Middle East.
 
A selection of quilts and hand-made items will be available for sale (cash only). These hand-made items make wonderful gifts.

Fr. John Book Signing At Saint Job of Pochaiv

Saint Job of Pochaiv News:

Many know Father John Hennies, also known as Ronald, from his years serving the community here in Los Alamos.

He was often seen in Starbucks or other venues around town, always offering a big smile and infectious laugh. Two years ago, he and his wife, Leona “Anna Lee”, moved back to South Dakota to retire and be closer to family there.
