The Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos has acquired a major bulto, a three dimensional painted carving, of Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadalupe) by the New Mexico master santero Antonio Molleno who worked in Northern New Mexico from 1815 to 1845.
The bulto was acquired from an antiques dealer who was a part of the invitational Fall for Antiques Show and Sale held at the Millicent Rogers Museum Oct. 11-13.

An Amber Alert has been issued for nine boys who went missing overnight from the Tierra Blanca Youth Ranch in Sierra County New Mexico.
It is believed that these boys are in danger due to the circumstances involving this abduction. Reports indicate that this southern New Mexico ranch program for troubled teens is under a state investigation into allegations that ranch residents were shackled and beaten by staff members.

I-25 Northbound Lane Closures
NMDOT News:
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation started bridge work on the I-25 northbound bridge (MP 282.5) Oct. 10.
This bridge work is north of the St. Francis Interchange. The contactor will be completing work that started earlier this year, and they will be back in the spring for final paving when temperatures allow.
There will be left and right lane closures and the one lane closure will remain overnight. The lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and this work is anticipated to be completed in four weeks.
