PHOENIX  The Internal Revenue Service announced today the launch of an online application that will assist taxpayers with straightforward balance inquiries in a safe, easy and convenient way.

DOE Awards $39.1 Million Contract To e-Management Consultants

CINCINNATI — The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the award of a contract to e-Management Consultants, Inc. for the Environmental Management Headquarters Information Technology Services Procurement.

The contract includes Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Non-Fee Bearing Cost-Reimbursable (CR), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). The total value of the contract is $39,136,798.13 with a five-year period of performance. Thirteen proposals were received in response to the solicitation.

Quality Of Education Survey Reflects High Confidence In Los Alamos Schools

The Los Alamos Public Schools 2015-2016 Quality of Education Survey results reflect high levels of confidence in key areas that impact student learning and student well being.

For the last five years, the top three survey questions were consistently at the top of the list. The area of highest satisfaction, schools holding high expectations for academic achievement, focuses on student learning has been #1 for the previous four years.

Police Operation Targets Porch Package Thieves

The Los Alamos Police Department Investigations Unit is conducting covert operations this holiday season as a proactive measure against package theft from citizen’s front porches. 

“We want to be proactive this season to deter and possibly catch any would-be thieves who target packages left at Los Alamos residences,” Cmdr. Oliver Morris said.

Udall Joins Senate In Passing ECHO Act To Increase Rural Access To Health Care
