An appreciative audience enjoyed the world premier of La Vida en Plaza at the Saturday night concert at Smith Auditorium by local musician Richard Hannenmann.

Free Flamenco Classes Begin In White Rock

Beginning Flamenco Dance Class resumed Saturday, Sept. 6 at the White Rock Activity Center. 

Flamenco dance has become a popular dance form worldwide because of its powerful lines, intense percussive rhythms, and the beautiful traditional melodies that cannot help but inspire movment. It comes from Southern Spain and ties together the cultures of Western Europe, Northern Africa and South Asia in its unique blend of gypsy and folk history.

The Honorable Sarah M. Singleton performs the Investiture Ceremony for Jennifer Attrep to the 1st Judicial District Court as her husband Todd Coberly looks on. Gov. Susana Martinez has appointed Attrep, a Los Alamos High School graduate, to the 1st Judicial District Court in July.
