New Mexico COVID-19 Cases At 363, One More Death

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced today 48 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

The updated New Mexico COVID-19 cases are now at 363 with one additional death related to COVID-19​.

Per the New Mexico Department of Health, the most recent cases are:

  • 19 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 1 new case in Catron County
  • 2 new cases in Cibola County
  • 2 new cases in Curry County
  • 3 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 1 new case in Grant County
  • 4 new cases in McKinley County
  • 1 new case in Otero County
  • 3 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 5 new cases in San Juan County
  • 6 new cases in Santa Fe County

Los Alamos County Releases Proposed FY2021/2022 Budget

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County has posted the proposed Biennial Budget online, along with a Citizen’s Guide to the Budget, which offers a high-level summary and budget overview.

Budget hearings with the County Council will begin Monday, April 20. The hearing format and schedule is subject to change based upon public gathering guidance governed by the COVID-19 emergency.

My supply of PPEs is extremely low  and once I’m out I will have to close my clinic as it will be unsafe for my employees.

Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) will begin work this week on an important wildfire fuels reduction project that will provide much-needed mitigation in several areas of Los Alamos.

LAFD has received grant funding for the project, which will include the following areas:
