New Mexico COVID-19 Cases At 7,624 With 7 More Deaths And 2,835 Patients Recovered

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 134 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County remains at 6 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes 7 additional deaths reported in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:

  • 19 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 1 new case in Chaves County
  • 2 new cases in Cibola County
  • 11 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 58 new cases in McKinley County
  • 1 new case in Rio Arriba County
  • 1 new case in Roosevelt County
  • 8 new cases in Sandoval

DAVID LAWRENCE HILL Jan. 17, 1954 – May 23, 2020

David Lawrence Hill, age 66, of Española, NM, passed away May 23, 2020.

David was born in Bangor, ME on January 17, 1954 to George and Donna Hill. The Hill family moved to Los Alamos in 1962, where David graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1971.

David worked as a machinist at several Northern New Mexico companies before joining Los Alamos National Laboratory.

David enjoyed the outdoors, camping, tinkering on motorcycles and his cats.

David is preceded in death by his parents, George and Donna Hill, and his sister, Kathryn Matzke.
