ALBUQUERQUE A two-phase earn-while-you-learn Welding Boot Camp and Apprenticeship Program in Farmington has been implemented with 20 individuals successfully completing the first five weeks.

SANTA FE The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) has published its draft revised land management plan and draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) in the Federal Register, initiating the formal 90-day public comment period, which ends Nov. 7, 2019.

Friday, U.S. Senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich and U.S. Representatives Ben Ray Luján, Deb Haaland and Xochitl Torres Small announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded more than $6 million in funding to New Mexico to combat the opioid epidemic in communities across the state.
