Los Alamos Hockey Team Finishes Season At 15-9

The Los Alamos Hockey Team participated in the Rio Grande High School Hockey League Varsity Year End Tournament. Toppers Close Out Season In Taos

Gavin Campos tries to break through the Taos Defense in the third-round game of the 2-4A District Tournament Thursday evening in Taos. The Toppers led the first quarter and tied at half but fell behind and were not able to regroup to take the lead. Taos won the contest 69-59. Toppers Defeat Pojoaque Elks 63-57

Harrison Frank goes coast-to-coast for the score that put the Toppers in the lead in the 4th quarter and the Toppers held the lead against the Elks until the final buzzer, winning 63-57. This was the second round of the district playoffs Tuesday evening in Ben Lujan Gymnasium in Pojoaque. Through UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) Community Education, former U.S. National Snowshoe Racing Team member Whitney Spivey will host a snowshoe running clinic 1-3 p.m. March 7.
