GOP Headquarters Grand Opening is Sept. 15

GOP News:

The Los Alamos Republican Party is hosting the grand opening celebration of its headquarters at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1362 Trinity Dr., Suite D1, just north of Viola’s Restaurant.

The community is invited to attend the grand opening and meet Jefferson Byrd, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, 3rd Congressional District.

Several Republican candidates running for state and local offices also will be on hand to speak with the public.

Free hot dogs and refreshments will be served.

The Republican Party of Los Alamos County announces that its new headquarters will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4.
 
The local GOP headquarters is at 1362 D-1 Trinity Dr., which is north of Viola’s Restaurant.
 
Voter registration will be available at the headquarters as well as material and information on Republican candidates.

Secret Service Agent Left Loaded Handgun in Bathroom of Romney Plane

A secret service agent accidentally left her gun inside the lavatory of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s campaign plane.

CBS News reports that the loaded gun was found by one of its reporters who was travelling with the Republican presidential nominee from Tampa to Indianapolis, Ind., where Romney was scheduled to deliver a speech.
