New Mexico Federation of Republican Women President Elaine Miller of Albuquerque attended last week’s Republican National Convention in Tampa Fla., as an alternate delegate. She told the Los Alamos Daily Post that the real turning point for her in the convention was listening to the inspirational speech given by Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan. “He said the things that made me feel positive and enthusiastic and I’m ready to get busy helping to get our candidates elected,” she said.
