Tuesdays at the Pond continues this week with The Nukeproofs performing at Ashley Pond Park. 
 
Los Alamos’ own Nukeproofs plays a hard-hitting mix of hardcore punk and rock n roll. Tuesdays at the Pond, a summer entertainment series, runs through Aug. 11. It brings a variety of entertainment acts to the Ashley Pond stage in downtown Los Alamos every Tuesday evening.

The Los Alamos Opera Guild is presenting a concert by apprentice singers from the Santa Fe Opera, 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at the Los Alamos United Church, 2525 Canyon Road.

Apprentice singers Alexandra Razskazoff and Adrian Kramer will perform.

Razskazoff, soprano, from New Brighton, Minn., covers the Page in Rigoletto and Katie in Cold Mountain. Her BM is from Peabody Conservatory and her MM from Juilliard. ‘Up And Over 10K Run’ In Taos July 31-Aug. 1

TAOS — Now in its 10th year, the Up and Over 10K Run in the Taos Ski Valley will hit the ground running with a challenging 6.2 mile trail run on Aug. 1.
 
And, to celebrate trail running, there will be a presentation of nine inspirational films at the “Trails in Motion Film Festival,” July 31.

Runners will have amazing views of both Kachina and Wheeler Peaks at the 10K trail run. The trail run starts at 9,207 feet with more than a 2,600-foot elevation gain in the first three miles.
