Apprentice Singers From SFO Perform Sunday

The Los Alamos Opera Guild is presenting a concert by apprentice singers from the Santa Fe Opera, 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at the Los Alamos United Church, 2525 Canyon Road.

Apprentice singers Alexandra Razskazoff and Adrian Kramer will perform.

Razskazoff, soprano, from New Brighton, Minn., covers the Page in Rigoletto and Katie in Cold Mountain. Her BM is from Peabody Conservatory and her MM from Juilliard. For Julliard she was Countess Almaviva in Figaro and at Peabody she sang Abigail Williams in The Crucible, Blanche de la Forcce in Dialogues des Carmelites, and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni.
 
She was Suor Angelica in Puccini’s Suor Angelica for the Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival.
 
Adrian Kramer
 
Kramer, 2nd year tenor, from Guelph, Ontario, earned BM Voice from Juilliard and MM from Curtis Institute. Other young artist programs include Glimmerglass, Steans Institute (Ravinia), and the Canadian Opera Company.
 
He was the Grand Prize Winner in the Louis Quilico Opera Competition, and a Winner/Grant Recipient in the Jacqueline Demarais Foundation for Young Canadian Opera Singers.
 
Adrian sang Nanki Poo in Mikado with Toronto Operetta. Adrian performs 2nd Nazarene Salome, Borsa Rigoletto, and Owens’ Son Cold Mountain. 2014 SFO, Adrian was Bodyguard in Dr. Sun Yat Sen. He was Loti in Reynaldo Hahn’s L’ile du reve and Feniham in Offenbach’s Bataclan for Opera Five in Toronto, Canada.
 
The event is free to guild members and there is a small fee to nonmembers. Hors d’oeuvres and punch will be provided.
